A downloadable Controller Type for the Logitech MX Revolution was added today.
This simply removes numerous controls that don't really exist on the device. _________________ Ken

I am having a problem.
I downloaded the latest controller type, and I can drag it into the controller type area. But it does not cover up the "old" (default) controller type. So now I see two copies of my MX Revolution in my controller type window. If I disable the showing of the original one in the palette window, then no mouse shows up in the palette window.
What am I doing wrong?

BTW, I e-mailed you (I used the CMDevice Scanner on it).

The file that you sent definitely looks like a new version of the mouse. I'll try to get to it this weekend and create another cmate file. _________________ Ken

Any chance you could look into adding the (tilt) wheel to the programming page? Without this you cannot disable the default behavior. And without this you can basically not program the wheel to do anything meaningful with ControllerMate.
I am fairly sure that it is be possible to disable the default behavior since USB Overdrive can do it for this mouse. Sadly, that program does not give proper control over the wheel. So I turn to CM once again hoping you can find a solution.
Edit: Just noticed that you've added the possibility of disabling scroll events entirely. This can indeed be used to disable the tilt wheel. Unfortunately, it also disables the vertical scrolling and I cannot see any way to re-implement the vertical scrolling with any of the CM elements. If you could make it possible to disable horizontal and vertical scrolling independently, I think it would solve the problem.

Great controller file, but I appear to be missing the "Search" button (small raised silver button between the right and left mouse buttons).
Is there any way to get this back/included?

The 'Search' button should appear as part of the "Consumer Control" portion of the mouse. Is it missing for you? _________________ Ken

That means that you have a newer version of the MX Revolution. I'll check my backlog of scanner data to see if someone has tested a newer version. _________________ Ken
