I'm trying out Controllermate to see if it'll do what I'm looking for..

One thing is to set up a button on my keyboard that will sleep the display.

I've done so using an applescript action, with the script in the building block, "do shell script "pmset displaysleepnow"


This works fine, but I'm curious if there's a better way to do a command line/shell script
